Hi all.... I'm in need of an inexpensive switch. The requirements are: - Be flat like a door mat approximately 10 x 5 cm in surface area. - Capable of providing a switch closure for the PIC when an object of any type is placed on it that weighs 0.5-32 once - Long lasting and will work over a temp range of approximately -23 to 43 deg C Does anyone have any ideas or suggestions? I believe you can buy mats premade for industrial use. They are designed for safety applications, such as making sure no one is standing in a dangerous area.
