Advanced Transdata (http://www.adv-transdata.com) has a parallel version of an ICD
available for $149.00. The flyer on this unit indicates the software they
supply is better than the software shipped with the MPLAB-ICD. They offer a
price of $129.00 if you are a MPLAB-ICD user / owner.
And the ICD Plot thickens!!

And to make the plot even thicker....
Where does a "poor slob" like me get information on the ICD
protocol so I can add ICD capabilities to my home-brew
programmer?
I understand that such information my be considered
too valuable to give away, but I am not about to got
out and create my own competing product either. I just
want to be able "do-it-myself", and at the very least,
just *know* how it works.
