Replying to the whole list for the heck of it, some widely applicable
data here.

Multiple ways, one is to (just before you leave), send the message (in
the text body of a message) "Set PicList NoMail" to the
<spam_OUTLISTSERVTakeThisOuTspamMITVMA.MIT.EDU> list server address;  When you get back, send
"Set PicList Mail" to the <.....LISTSERVKILLspamspam@spam@MITVMA.MIT.EDU> list server address
(If you're in Digest mode, substitute Digest for Mail there <G>)  This
method tells the list server to NOT send, or save, any PICList messages
for you while you're set to NoMail.

Those of you who want to send PICList e-mail from a second e-mail
address but not receive two copies of the PICList traffic, please
consider NoMail <G>

Alternately send "Signoff PicList" to the <LISTSERVspamKILLspamMITVMA.MIT.EDU>
list server address, then "Subscribe PicList" to the
<.....LISTSERVKILLspamspam.....MITVMA.MIT.EDU> list server address, but this method loses any
other settings you have (Digest mode, Index mode, etc. etc.)

Other options:  Good details at, Tjaart's page.

I think I've figured out one way to get the PICList FAQ auto-posted
regularly, should be able to start getting it sent soon <G>

If you want to reach all PICList Admins, use the
<EraseMEPICList-Requestspam_OUTspamTakeThisOuTMITVMA.MIT.EDU> address.
