This may sound lazy but I have a lot of tedious code to write to
interface a pic to a 100x32 small graphics display. The controller is
the sed1520. No alpha capability just pixels.

Anyone know of any online code or routines for this kind of thing. Even
if it is not for the sed1520 it's OK, I can rework it for the 1520.

tables of bytes for characters would be great. staring at my mobile
phone and trying to write down the 5x7 is a right pain.

Hopefully I can give as much info and help back to the list as I
receive.
Thanks in advance
Scott

See
http://techref.massmind.org
under Data, Character sets. There are several very nice fonts created by
PICListers.

and you might check under processors, microchip, io routines for LCD code. I
don't remember if anything there was graphic only.

Please consider posting your code for others when it is done.

If you were to switch to AVR I could sell you my code. It handles 120x32
pixels (2x SED1520).  You can display icons and text with proportional
fonts and drawmodes, and have a lot of printf()-alike functionality.

The string parser supports multiple languages, too, and my fonts include
most of the ISO8859-1 special chars that european languages require.
