Who in the group has experience with this type of problem that they can
contact spam_OUTrdbharrisTakeThisOuTspamsprynet.com to give some pointers as to where to look
for the TV monitoring system?

Thanks,

Kelly Schauf

I have been looking for plans to construct a very small TV monitoring
system.  I have a general idea of what I want.  I would like to have a
battery operated camera that would sit on a tripod no more than 1.5'
tall,
and transmit the signal to a wireless battery operated monitor that
could
carry.  The signal would only need be strong enough to transmit about 30
yards.  I admit this is probably a pretty hefty project, but I have been
searching for it for so long, that now I MUST do it.  I don't even know
what to call this apparatus, so I don't know what to search for!!  Could
you please help me on this?  I would be SO grateful for your help.
Thank
you so much.

       Happy Holidays!!

I have had good luck with a TV transmitter kit (TV-6 <$30US) from these folks.
They
apparently have camera/transmitter kits as well.

Look at:

I will E-mail this privately to the requesting party, whom I assume is not on th
is list.

Here is a company that specializes in small video
transmitter systems and kits.

Ramsey Electronics  http://www.ramseyelectronics.com
1-800-446-2295 has video cameras and transmitters that will go up to
several miles with the right antenna and preamp, and easily several
feet.  You could probably put together your system for well under
$500 through them, maybe less than $200.
