Hi Folks,

I have posted a free picstart plus driver for windows95/98/NT on my web page
under the free stuff link. This contains no time limit, nag screens, crippled
features etc.

(A new version was posted today fixing the 12C508-OTP read bug.)

The only known limitation with it is that the data EEPROM programming is
limited
to 64 bytes. I have not updated the data EEPROM code for the newer flash
parts with
the larger data EEPROM yet. Please drop me a quick email if you are using
it. The
more people who use it the more likely it is that it will be maintained.
There is an
entirely optional $15Aud registration that will help in this respect too.

Those wishing to program with the picstart plus without using MPLAB may find
this driver useful.

Jim

Regards,

Jim Robertson

Now if I can talk you into a DOS driver, Jim <EG>

once in a while <G>)
