Hi, Has anyone ever heard of (or did by itself), connecting a Embedded Controller (like PIC) or any other kind of Microcontroller - to an ATAPI CD-ROM drive. There are couple of projects on the mp3tech mailing list that are working on doing just that. The major hangup seems to be the resources needed to decode the ISO-9660 file format. Moving a bit off topic... I've noticed the price of CD jukeboxes is quite low, while the cost of CD-ROM jukeboxes is quite high. Anyone have any ideas about a conversion of an audio jukebox to data?
