'Emedded + CD-ROM'
Has anyone ever heard of (or did by itself), connecting a Embedded
Controller (like PIC) or any other kind of Microcontroller - to an ATAPI
I would like to read files out of a CD in ISO-9660 Format.
Any links, suggestions etc. ?

There are couple of projects on the mp3tech mailing list
that are working on doing just that. The major hangup
seems to be the resources needed to decode the ISO-9660
Go read the archives and follow the pointers at

Moving a bit off topic... I've noticed the price of CD jukeboxes
is quite low, while the cost of CD-ROM jukeboxes is quite high. Anyone
have any ideas about a conversion of an audio jukebox to data?
