I recently got Eagle light, and although I found a contributed microchip library on their website, it doesn't include the 16F84. Has anybody got a library in Eagle format that does? Lazily, Dave Johnson

You can use 16C84, pinout is the same. There is a library file in the CadSoft website with most if not all the PICs. I got it from there. Check the User's files section. If you really get in a jam, just use a chip with the right number of pins, and fake it :) The PCB will never know!

When I saw the one from a user on the CadSoft web site, I just assumed that meant there wasn't one included with Eagle. Wrong. Sorry for the wasted bandwidth... Dave
