Post by thread:Dallas DS1620 or 1820 digital temperature sensor

Hi, all PICers, It may be an old question, but I have not seen any related in recent months. I want to read temperature to a PIC, as simple as that. I have problem using the DS1620, a serial clocked in/out data device. Any one out there can help? Also, the DS1620 is like C$20+ /each, is there a cheaper sensor that can talk to the PIC directly?
