According to the listserver's INFO, there is a "digests" mode that is enabled by the DIGests command. I once managed to enable it, but when I resubscribed to PICLIST I couldn't get it to work again. I've tried sending the listserver every combination of "DIG", "DIGEST" and "DIGESTS", but each gets bounced with "unknown command" error message. Digests mode gives a daily summary of the PICLIST traffic, rather than sending me the individual messages. Anyone out there have an idea how to enable it? jk

I think you have an old version of the info-page. Mine says nothing about a 'digest' command. Instead do this: > Contributions sent to this list are automatically archived.
