Post by thread:Cheap PC Logic Analyzers

I used to have a ~$200 logic analyzer from ProBoard circuits, but it was destroyed in an apartment fire a year ago. I am considering replacing it and I wondered what recommendations people have in that price range. The ProBoard worked okay, but the software left a lot to be desired. (It did have an open standard for communicating with the PC and I had intended to write a great app, but I never did.) Especially I would like to know if anyone has experience with either: Borge Instruments Logic Analyzer Virtual Tools Logic Analyzer or any other logic analyzer in the under $500 price range.
