The PIC16F8X Datasheet, on page 40, shows the use of an external parallel
resonant crystal oscillator circuit that provides for carrying the clock signal
"To Other Devices".

Hi,
I guess yes. I did it. I connect the xtal to the first PIC as usual. Then
I wire the clkout pin of this pic to the 2nd one's clkin. It works.
