Just starting with MPASM, so this may sound juvenile but here goes ...

I use CBLOCK as follows:

       CBLOCK  0x0C
       mulcnd
       mulplr
       result
       ENDC
and the three variables mulcnd, mulpr, and result appear in the GPR ram, and
can be made to appear in MPLAB's watch list window.

Now, if I specifically define using db as:
       ORG 0x20
mulcnd  db      1
mulplr          db      1
result          db      1

... the three variables cannot be added to the watch list.

Hmmm, in the second case, am I defining bytes in the Program Object Code
area, and in the first case in the GPR area?  What directives do we have to
define locations in the GPR ram area?
