To communicate with the PC-side BT dongle, I usually use the BTM-22x
( http://www.rayson.com/product/wireless/BTM-22x.htm )
module on the microcontroller side, which is much cheaper than $55,
and may be directly connected to the USART.
It gives you nice wireless serial connection.
