Hi folks!, I was surfing the net yesterday when I found a site with
details of BS1 stamp emulator that you can make your self.
It has been designed and made available by the kind people at the
BSSClub.
http://www.geocities.com/SiliconValley/Cable/7772/
The design has recently been enhanced (Nov 99 latest version)
The board can be programmed via the printer port or the serial
port and all the details are available in a file called st1-64v2.zip
Someone on this list once said that everybody (interested in this stuff)
should have a Basic Stamp in there tool kit to use as a quickly
programmable digital tester and source of test signals etc. etc.. The
limitation on the above design is a program length of 68 tokens (stored in
the 16F/C84 eeprom data area) but if you just want a simple programmable
digital tester/signal source this should not be a big problem.
I have not built one of these yet but I thought I had to bring it to
the attention of people on this list. Has anyone else built it?
