One is the PicBASIC compiler from MEL. Take a look at
our Web-site (Swedish) for more details.

Hello all!
I'm not only new to this list, I'm new to pics all together!
I have used a basic stamp with great ease, and own both a bs1 and a
picstart 16c64.
Since I am very familiar with basic, and know virtually nothing about
the pic yet  I was wondering if anyone has one of those basic complier
programs where you program your pic in basic like the basic stamp. ( a
program which converts basic into object code)
I found a picbasic program on the net but it looks for a "module" one of
course which I don't possess, therefore it is useless to me!
Can anyone help out a struggling begginner??
If so reply to me at :
.....snagltoothKILLspamspam@spam@coastnet.com
Thank you

It seems I am in the Engineering Dept for a little bit longer. My Xmas
present the other day was that my position will no longer be funded next
year.

As Ned Kelly once said - Such is life.

Thier Xmas present from me is supposed to be this 100KPH remote
controlled road rocket which I was told needs to be in operation by
December. Not bad considering it's still only on that roll of paper in
my head - which is throbbing like a beaut at the moment. I decided to
use 2 12C671's to control the steering and throttle mechanisms via 1 low
power and 1 high power H Bridge IC from NS. The (power) steering needs
to react quite quickly, but I figure 60 RPM max at the actual wheel, and
about 180 degrees of rotational movement should be all that is needed. I
was thinking a 12V starter motor from a small stationary engine with
suitable gearing should be powerful enough. I've figured out the
mechanism so it's just a matter of putting it all together. Then there's
the video link, control link etc etc.....

Better get back to it ;-)

Sean,
Bad, bad boy.
Then of course you are an American, that gives you some bonus credit points
to blow away <G>.
I can spot two (Could consider it one, depending on if you subscriber to
new age English or old age. Not the Thous and Thies and Thiys one) errors
(No harm Tony). My English is not very good at all, but I am trying (My
spelling and sentence constuction is still only equivalent to 7th
grade)(Perhaps in vien, maybe I should stick to my own language, but If I
did that I could not enjoy the PICLIST Dammed if I do Dammed if I don't eh?
Pratice:practice:practice).

Here comes the flames, better watch it or Jory may thow my subscription
into the PIClist grinder <G>.

LOL! I wasn't aware we Americans had bonus points coming. I'm not sure how
to take that! I like Mr. Webster's (no, not Paul B.) spellings, thank you
(if that is the cause of the bonus points to which you refer).

Actually, I think your english is fine, and I never knew that it wasn't
your native tongue until you told us. What is your native language, Dennis?
