I just purchased a couple of Motorola MPX4115APs from Allied Electronics
(http://www.allied.avnet.com/) for about $22 each.  They also have the
MPX5100AP if you prefer that part.  Allied's minimum purchase requirement
for online credit card orders is $50.

Also, if you call Motorola literature services at 800.441.2447 and ask
for KITMPX5100A/D, they'll send you samples of the MPX5100AP for free
(but they don't always have them in stock).

  Matthew, I've built a barometer based on Sensym's SCX15ANC 0-15psi
sensor. It has temperature compensation and is under $30 in small
quantities. I supply the sensor with a precision 10V reference and
feed the output to an AD620 instrumentation amp. That output goes
to a 12 bit A/D with a 0 - 4.096V range. It's been very accurate
over the last year.

Sensym has new low-cost sensors as well as Motorola. Sensym's
number is (408) 954-1100.

SEARCH for the MPX4100.  Very good units.

That is now an obsolete kit number and they have no substitutes.
