Hi,

while monitoring the Atmel Stuff too, I found a very promising Editor too.

It looks highly configurable and seems to have som nice features.
While announced in the Atmel Mailing list it is according to
the author already equipped with the "Toolset"  for the PIC 16C family.

THAT one's bad.  Grumble!

You will find a syntax colouring editor with UMPS. UMPS can also
be configured to use MPASMWIN,  with evaluation version it is
possible to edit and save ASM file as well as default configuration.
Give it a try:

My changes for PIC support to the GNU Emacs asm-mode.el file are
available somewhere on my Open Source web pages ...
http://www.linux.org.au/~quozl/ ... in one of the TAD projects.

It highlights according to mnemonic.

(Sorry, I've not checked the discussion to determine if someone has
already said this.)
