Ok... I just received the last three weeks' worth of PICLIST messages
in one batch.  Here are answers to a few questions that have been
posted:

Code for precise delays of up to 12 billion cycles can easily be
created using the BASIC program on my web page.

Interrupts DO NOT need to be disabled around instructions which
directly modify the Program Counter.  See my web page for more
   on this, too.

It is not possible to disable the 18 millisecond 16C5x Power-On
   Reset timer.

Scott Dattalo:  Thanks for the reminder... In addition to going
through these piled-up PICLIST messages, I'll be fixing the
typos on the web page.  AN576 -> AN576 is first on my list.

See, Scott?  I even screwed it up here.  Of course, I meant to say
"AN576 -> AN556".  Sigh...

I sure goofed.  The previous message that you got from me with a
quote from Andrew Warren and some stuff about addresses already in use and
so forth was the result of some automation I have written for my job that
got out of control.  I assign Internet numbers at OSU and I accidentally
activated a script that automatically replies to a message and appends the
results of their attempt to request an Internet number.  Sometimes, I build
hardware that works this smart.  What can I say?
