24LC16B Corrupted on Power down

I connecte 16F877 SDA,SCL pins to the 24LC16B.
On power down, the data within the EEPROm gets corrupted.
Currently, the SDA, SCL are pulled up to VDD with 4.7KOhm resistor.

I noticed the BODEN bit is ON.
What can I do to prevent the data from getting corrupted.

24LC16B Corrupted on Power down

What can I do to prevent the data from getting corrupted.

* Sounds like you need to implement a "power fail interrupt" scheme - you have
to ensure that you have enough hold up time between detecting the
powerfail/brown out to the time that the power down/brown will cause data
corruption to allow you to complete your I2C activity then prepare for shut
down. Not to sure about how the brown out operates on the PIC, sorry.

Hi there,
I have had this trouble as well in the past. Your problem is the reset
circuitry for the micro. You must prevent the write cycles the minute the
voltage begins to fall below 5V.
