How do I program the 756 with a picstart plus?  What would the schematic for
the adapter be?  Does anyone have an alternative programmer?

I have just drawn the required adapter using CadSoft's very nice Eagle Light
software (someone else has already posted the url).  The board is currently
being made, so it has not been tested yet.  It is basically a double sided
through hole plated board that takes a 40 pin double sided header (think
thats more or less what its called - ic socket with pins sticking out both
sides) for the picstart, and a 68 pin PLLC socket (the through hole socket -
not the surface mount version) for the 17c756.  I will gladly supply the
gerber files and cad file to anyone who wants it.  I was however going to
wait until I had tested it.  So, you can have it, dunno if it'll work, but
it should.

Cheers
Roland

Hi Roland,

I would love to see the cad file to cross check it against my wiring chart.
That way I may spot a discrepancy in either your's or my efforts.

I will download eagle light to do it.

Jim
