Asking for a colleague, sorry if details are scarce...

He's wanting to use the GP3/Vpp/MCLR' pin as an input.  Is it possible to
simulate it using
MPLAB-SIM?

He's put __CONFIG 0x00A at the start, to disable that pin's MCLR function,
but if he changes the value at pin GP3 using Async Stimulus, the simulator
goes to address 0x1FF, seemingly seeing it as MCLR instead.

Is there any way to communicate the config setting to the simulator?  I've
not used the little PICs at all before, and I can't figure it out...

I think what you want is to unselect the MCLR Enable check box in the menu
Options/Processor Setup/Hardware.

Thanks- that's just what he needed!  And now we've figured out that a
wake-up from sleep doesn't start off at the next instruction, but does a
RESET, it's all running!
