The V6.3 version is a lot faster and seems to be cleaner
to use. It has some interface changes which take a bit
of getting used to but overall it is a nice package.
As for OSs - I have V 6.3 running quite nicely on
Win-98, Win-98 2nd Edition, Win-ME and Win-2K. As
you probably already know, you are unlikely to be
able to install Win2K or Win-XP on your machine,
and I would try to avoid Win-ME.
Win-98 (2nd) is a fairly straight forward upgrade from
Win-95 and a whole lot more robust and more reliable.
That having been said, the problem is getting a copy,
since Win-98 in all of it's forms is obsolete. There
are suppliers out there who have old installable copies
to sell - usually at a good price. If I run across the
name of one of them I will post it here.
