Another bag of caps.  Like the subject says.  I've a whole bag if you
want 'em.

Why not one *single* post that simply points to your
"garagesale" web site ?

Donnate all the stuff to your local school, don't waste time. You'll
earn more doing billable work as a web-site developper, for example.

I counted one [AD] and 17 of his [ad] posts yesterday. Maybe we should add a
SPAM tag.

Isn't it time for one of the admins to get involved?

Just my opinion.
I see nothing wrong with his [AD] posts.

If they annoy you, put a filter on your email and send his posts to the
trash.  I can do that quicker then it takes to send an email complaining.

We are involved. It just isn't always in full view.

[AD] is ok, however, if someone has many things to sell it would be nice to
see only one [AD] message from him/her something like: "Hey, I have a bunch
of stuff in my garage, come and see if you can find something useful" ...

This is the same principle as using the same subject for a conversation
instead of changing it for every singe reply. If we do not mess this mailing
list up then it will work perfectly, so for example next time if you have an
[AD] message everyone will see that, but if many people unsubscribe from it
or put a spam filter on it just because one spammer, then you will not able
to sell your stuff here for sure.

In addition to just being annoying to get 20 messages each selling one
thing, it makes it hard to pick thru and see what is really available.  I
might be interested in some things, but separate messages for each just get
separately deleted.  No, I'm not going to aggregate them myself on the off
chance there is something there I might actually want.  He also didn't
clearly mention the price in most cases.  One "jar" is not a useful measure,
so essentially that means the price is unknown.  When people don't clearly
state the price of something they're selling up front, it's usually a good
indication you don't want to do business with them.

I also note that the OP hasn't been back apologizing, clarifying, or posting
a list.  This means he probably isn't a regular member, just spammed this
and probably other lists to sell his stuff.

Olin:
If you click the link to the item, it will take you to the website with
a lot more info about the item.
And a lot more items.
