'[WKB] Need help converting 16C57 to Scenix chip'
2000\04\21@214020 by William K. Borsum

<x-flowed>Greetings Listers

I'm looking for someone (preferably in Southern California) who is familiar
with converting applications running on a 16C57 to a Scenix SX28.

Specifically, I would like to find:
someone who can take my existing PIC 16C57 hex files and program a pair of
SX28's for test purposes,
Guide me through the process including acquiring any required hardware and
references to a scenix list, list of consultants, sources for software,
information, etc. beyond the very limited information provided on the
scenix web page.

Off list is just fine.

Um, lets see, if you can get me an SX28, I can try to program the hex file
to it, but I think that some of the fuses need to be set differently. You
can download the SXKey software from Parallax and get your source to compile
with the appropriate settings and then I can program the chip for you.

As far as other resources go, see (can you guess?)

I have a program for converting from Microchip MPASM syntax to SX-Key
syntax. It is in a Beta form for DOS only. If you are willing to be a
guinea pig I can e-mail a copy to you.

<x-flowed>Got an OK to buy the SX Tech kit, and to cover a couple of hours of your
time--will let you know when the material shows up and we can schedule some
