After upgrade my monitor from a 15-inch unit to a 20-inch unit, I found Firefox sucks again.

The IE7 auto picked the new screen resolution (1600x1200), and display most of the web-staff just fine.

The Firefox 3.0.8 give me a big headache, it shows every single web-staff just like 640x480 resolution, everything is huge on the screen and I have to scroll up and down, left and right to get some readings, and it even displays fewer staff than my 15 inch screen.

What's wrong, Firefox?

I've been using firefox on a 1600x1200 (or larger) monitor since it
was Mozilla without seeing problems like that...  (windows XP and
macos, though.  Not linux.)

If that is the picture as well as the text that is larger, then try pressing
Ctrl+0 or try with Ctrl+grPlus/grMinus/scrollwheel to change zoom.

If that is only the text that is large but the pictures are normal/small,
then try the Preferences / Content tab / Advanced button next to the font
settings and see if the minimum font size set to a funny value.

btw: I use FF 3.08 with linux 1900x1200 screen without a single problem
(wide-screen on my laptop).

Thanks for all your response, I tried all the tips you guys recommended.
And I reboot the computer couple of time, now the "Too big" issue is gone.
After a few adjustment on Ctrl+0 recommended by Tamas, then followed by Ctrol+Mouse-Scrollwheel, now I can browse the web normally.

I now use XP SP3, 1600x1200, and  DPI setting: 96DPI. The font is kind of small, but it is ok for me.
