'[TECH] printing your own solar cells'
I'm sure I recall seing and hearing about this research some years ago, but according to the BBC website Oregon State University have 'discovered' how by using chalcopyrite blended with an ink type carrier they can 'inkjet' the active component onto a substrate.
Only producing solar cells with a conversion rate of 5% efficiency at the moment compared to 15-18% using traditional methods of a coated panel.
