While i search about a homebuilt logic analyzer

The 37 way connector is a Centronics connector so the unit can be connected
to the PC's printer port with a standard printer cable.

From the FAQ:

How does it connect to the computer?
The DLA has includes a general purpose I/O card that is inserted into a
spare XT or AT slot. The actual logic analyser circuitry is located in an
external printed circuit board that connects to the I/O card via a 37 way
ribbon cable.
