Kind Regards, Best Wishes  Dear All.

Many Thanks for your Previous help.

As explained before I am very new to this sort of thing and really
appreciate all your help and patience.

Does anyone know of the equivalent within the United Kingdom of the Ceramic
Resonator with Caps.

I have scanned Farnell and Maplins Catalogue and website and there doesn't
seem to be a reference to that particular thing or at least not specifying
with caps etc,

However when applied to Digi-Key website instant success and a datasheet.

My question is this, Does anyone have experience with this part within the
UK and possibly part numbers or source.

Can I use a 4mhz Crystal instead ?

Many Thanks in advance once again

Kind Regards, Best Wishes.

Can't give you the part number off hand but RS/Electromail sell them and http://www.crownhill.co.uk(4MHz 0.55p) (cheaper than RS) alternatively if you want a quantity with current exchange rates http://www.basicmicro.com (4MHz@0.99)

No offense Paul, but please don't post HTML...many people can't see it,
or see it as HTML code, thus all the tags show up.

As for your question, you should be able to use a crystal, as long as
the oscillator bits are set right on the chip. You will gain accuracy
going from a resonator to a crystal.
