so it's not just me? yes, I've gotten tons of the stuff. 9/33 letters this
morning, which is better than it has been lately. I do'nt mind a few of them
a day, because I can delete them pretty easliy. but when every other e-mail
is spam, it gets a bit annoying to go through incoming mail. I mean, I
appreciate them letting me know that at a moment's notice I can get the
hottest live farm web cams on the internet and free life insurance quotes,
but this is ridiculous.

I'm getting it all on my regular account but (thankfully) not my piclist
account.  About 5-7 each day.

YES! I just installed SpamBouncer on one of my accounts. It works great!
See http://www.spambouncer.org . On that account, about half my mail was
spam.

Yep,
Here the same.
I also have a hotmail account. I do not use it anymore
cause it is under heavily fire by spammers.

I always thought, until a couple of weeks, that Yahoo
was relatively spam free.
Another illusion shot to smithereens.

You might want to try to unsubscribe to them...it sometimes works though it takes a long time...
Are they some all from the same address, cause if so, just block them...

I'm feeling like a leper. I have three accounts around
the place and never get spammed (sob)

Ha!  I have a Yahoo! account that has never been used, not a single time,
for anything.  It gets a dozen or so pieces of SPAM per *day*.  Ditto for
my home.com email account, but it's even worse.

I've done a few experiments with MS Lookout Depressed, and found one reason
why my inbox rules didn't work.  There is an option in the rules to "Delete
the message off the server" but this does not work with my server.  The
option "Delete it" Does send the message to my deleted folder.

Boolean tests seem to work OK, so a message rule deleting any message where
the body contains "hot" AND "girls" for instance will be deleted.  I'll have
to look in my trashcan for this message and any replies to it!
