'[PICLIST] MPLAB V5.3 special characters'

Hello,

I've got some problems using some special keys in mplab! I'm using
v5.30 and a german keyboard, but I can't type e.g. '[',']','~' within
the mplab-editor !?

Anyone got a hint for me how to activate those keys ?

Thanks,
      Michael

Michael,

Try holding Alt and typing the following numbers on the
keypad:

[ Alt 091
] Alt 093
~ Alt 126

(late reply; I´ts been some weeks since i checked my PIC mail last time...)

I too can not write some characters in MPLAB.

Workaround: Type all thoose problem characters in Notepad and save the file in the project map.  Then open that file together with ypur project files in MPLAB, as a small window and copy-paste when needed.

Regards
/Morgan
