I've finally gone and done it.

http://www.dvanhorn.org/Micros/All/Index.php

There's a lot more in here, but I've taken on what I think are the two most
common questions with micros of any type, and hopefully answered them in a
way that's easy to understand.

Enjoy, criticize, whatever :)

Can't be that good a site, there is no link to piclist.com

<GRIN>

Nice information. The stuff on PCB layout and Crystal setup is great.

David, I tried your site, I get this:

"Warning: Failed opening '../headmeta.inc' for inclusion
(include_path='') in
/home/dvh/public_html/Micros/All/Index.php
on line 8"

Error at the page top. Your barcode page seems to
work fine. I have Net Nav 3.01 Gold.
:o)

PS. Just to have an extra bitch, is there a way for
us challenged people to see your circuits? Like make
a .gif available too? :o)

Try again, I was in there making changes.
I'll keep my mitts out for a few minutes.
It's working right here, even on refresh.

I'm working on it..
I have a package that's supposed to let me print to gif, but it's not working.

If you load up SPLOT, it will do the job under windows.

Once it is on-screen, press the print-screen button,
windows will save the whole screen image to clipboard.
Then just paste into any graphics program and save
as .gif etc. :o)
-Roman

PS. The error is still there.

If it were a windows program...
If I could hold the whole schematic on the screen..

Did you clear the browser cache, and reload?

Ha ha! Life is like that! :o)

Yep! Been caught by that before. A shift-reload
still brings the error up.

Hmm.. You're the only person seeing this at the moment.
What's your browser?

To make pictures of your circuits, download a PostScript printerdriver. Then
print to a file. You'll then get a *.EPS file, which can be converted
further in a image editing program.

home.online.no/~ssemjaco/Prosjekter/postscript.htm
It's a page I set up som time ago.

I have postscript output drivers for this cad program, but they have never
worked properly.  The only ones that I know work are raster drivers for
printers, HP PCL for HP's ink/laser jet printers, and HP-GL.

It's not a windows app, so windows drivers don't help.

I've got a package that's supposed to let me print to GIF, but it's decided
to quit on me too... #@$!$!#$%

Dave - maybe give PrintGL a try.  I've been using it for years and is what
I do all my plotting with.  Runs in a DOS box and converts HPGL or AutoCAD
plot files into a variety of file formats as well as talking to pretty much
every printer made.

You can get it from: http://www.concentric.net/~ravitz/

If you have a particular need, the author (Cary Ravitz) usually provides
them in a very timely fashion.

It just about works with DOS sessions in windows too.

Tricky though.

As it is now, I have them linked to the webplot plug-in, which works well
enough, I think.
