A while ago someone posted a circuit of a FET switch to switch a voltage
higher than +5 volts with a 5 volt level. Can someone direct me to that post.

TIA,

Peter

Do you mean a high side switch?
What kind of current?

I use a P channel FET for the high side, the gate driven by an N channel FET,
who's gate is driven by a 5 volt level. Add 2 resistors as a voltage divider
on the P channel FET and your done.

I want to switch 9 volts DC. I normally use a PNP and NPN transistor but I
thought someone had a method using a single FET??
