'[PICLIST] [EE}: Any Canadians order from Olimex'

I was wondering if any piclisters in Canada have ordered from Olimex in
Bulgaria.  Olimex shipped a small order for me on Mar. 21 and I haven't got it
yet.

I wouldn't put it past Canada Customs to freak at electronic devices arriving
from Bulgaria;  anyone have any experience?

Thanks,
Colin  (in Richmond, BC)

I'm not in Canada (US), but my last order from Olimex was shipped March 1 and
arrived the first week of April.

Thanks Brandon.  I guess I'll just not worry for a couple of weeks then.

No problem getting PCBs from them to the Netherlands, but that was only a
small letter (one PCB in 9 pieces). BTW my last package from DigiKey was
opened by the Dutch customs...

Hi-
I am contemplating ordering something from them, nut they asked for my credit card
number, expiry date AND the code on the back of the card --
I think this is excessive -- any of you guys have any concerns?

No, I have done lots of business with Olimex and have been well pleased.

Many mercant banks now want you to get the fraud code. Digikey wants
gets it and so do we. You'll see this more and more often.

Well I guess it means that you have to have the card in your possession, and
not reading the numbers of a slip you have picked out the rubbish
somewhere... :)
