I can't confirm your 7110 pricing, but generally FLASH is not only needed
for WAP phones, but any mobile phone.  WAP was never (yet) a big market,
nor expected to boost the mobile phone sales (too expensive, too slow,
need contract SIM with special agreements).  What makes the market
take off is the prepaid system, and those selling like crazy.  Expect
serious TSOP/BGA FLASH shortage still in Nov and early Dec when the
XMas stock is produced.

WAP might be nice for internet startup companies (trying to sell their
shares), but it means next to nothing for GSM sales.

This phone also happens to have some serious software problems. They keep loosing numbers and going into random reset modes which mean the owner has to remove the battery to reset it. There are major software upgrades going around apparently.
