Sorry, again me, but at
www.piclist.com/techref/postsearch.asp?qu=fixed+point+binary&freetext=&from=&sc=h:\techref\&tgt=_top&archsearch,
I've got *allways this error* trying to follow displayed links :

HTTP Error 400

400 Bad Request

Due to malformed syntax, the request could not be understood by the
server. The client should not
repeat the request without modifications.

It's a problem with my browser ? ( netscape 4.01 )
Thank's, Vasile

You get this when clicking on any link at that page?
It works for me in IE4 and 5... What does the browser say the links are?
E.g. if you mouse over the link, what does the status bar say you are going
to go to?

I think I know what it is... IE4 (and I thought N4) will prepend the site
url to a link that doesn't start with the "http:/"/ stuff. So, for example,
a link to "/techref/index.htm" from a page at
"http://www.piclist.com/techref/postbot.asp" will result in a jump to
"http://www.piclist.com/techref/index.htm" On IE3 and N3 (and I guess N4)
the link "/techref/index.htm" just results in a jump to "/techref/index.htm"
which is obviously not right.

I'll have to find the time to go through the entire postbot and add the
"http://www.piclist.com" to every link.

I have the same problem. Doesn't work in IE5 or Netscape 4.76 (Windows
or Unix).

Since switching over to IE5, I get errors like this every single day.
There may be something to click on in the options menu [?????], but
usually just hitting the "Refresh" button will bring up the page.

I went ahead and updated it, please try a different search (to ensure you
are not getting a proxy cache) and let me know if it works better now.
