X-Mailer: Microsoft Outlook IMO, Build 9.0.2416 (9.0.2910.0)
              --------------------------
              --------------------------

What does it take?
Takes using Outlook Express instead of MS Outlook which comes with MS
Office.

MS Outlook opens and starts such attachments (like Word documents which can
also contain viruses and scripts) - automatically. Outlook Express does not.
You have to do it manually.

Microsoft intended to provide way to send small "applications" which will
automatically start when received and use this for appointments in calendar
to work.

Looks to me as unfinished, since you do not open this to everything.
If you work in closed network - no problem.
If you are on Internet - big problem.

Main problem is that in lot of corporations Outlook is corporate policy and
there is nothing that can be done about.

Outlook 97 at least does not open attachments automatically.  It still needs
an ammount of ignorance on behalf of the user to propagate the script
viruses.

of screening all incomming mail for script based virii.  Of all the copies
of ILOVEYOU, Kakworm etc that have been sent to this list, I've not received
one copy.  I still hate Outlook though, not only for it's potential security
problems, but also because it's a huge memory hungry monster.
