Dear reader,

I am creating a remote control for my camcorder but I don't know
the codes as there is no rc supplied - but there should be a
receiver-chip inside. Can you help me out with the details about
    this code ?

I am looking for something like:

    On : 1ms

    Off : 2ms

    On : 2ms

    ....

    Off : 5 ms = ending

equals "RECORD" or "PLAY" or ....

to turn a ir led on and off.

Regards

Some Panasonics have LANC, which isn't hard to find details of
on the web. Don't know about the NV-GS27 though. I've made a
LANC encoder for a Sony camcorder, not difficult at all. Just a table
and timing for pulse streams

Elektor had an article about IR code analyzer in 2001. It used a
Philips 8051 based microcontroller and It would read most of the
codes.

Maybe this could help you.
