Hey,
       When I exported a hex file from MPLAB 6.60 for a dsPIC30F4011, I
got this line from the hex file, which to me apparently has an invalid
checksum of 257.

:0200000401F00A

       Is there something up or am I just missing something really
obvious?

Error found on line 1 at character position 14.
Bad checksum calculated.
->:0200000401f00a

This is not a HEX file.
