I just bought a couple of ICD3's for development work, and realized that I need to convert these to the 1x6 0.1 pitch header I use on all the boards I have - I.E. the connector on the PICkit2.

I'm finding lots of circuit boards which do this, and can definitely make a cable if I need to, I'd really rather find something made and solid and robust.

I do feel like I need a flexible cable, and not a PCB header adapter.   OR a adapter, and a 1x6 to 1x6 header cable..

I've also looked for simply a single row (1x6) ribbon cable connector or similar and no luck there either.   I do have some 1x6 connectors which work well for this purpose, but the strain relief leaves a lot to be desired.

Is there a source for these I'm missing?  Or am I just needing to make one myself.

Microchip do them ... We use them... But before you yse them use a little
bit of two pack and glue the connector housing to the pcb it will last a
long long time like this... if not its of limited life... the pins flex and
the connector comes off. Our lot haven't broken one since we discovered
epoxy

Are you talking about the little board with a 6p6c connector and the connector like is on the pickit?

Just seems big and awful to do it that way.

I really would like to find a cable for this...

We have different pogo cable which may suite the needs (100 mil pitch).

It would be nice if you made one that could latch onto the board and
compete with the $45 tag-connect cable.
