'[PIC]:thankyou to you all'

I'd like to thank you all who have contributed to my questions on the PIC list over the past year.  I have now finished my honours degree project and attained a 1st class degree in Beng Computer systems & electronics.
From knowing absolutely nothing about PICs I have now designed and constructed a tool monitoring device with the PIC at its centre.  The device is currently interfaced to a PLC and an Indramat drive controller on one of the metal cutting transfer machines at the Ford engine plant in Bridgend, GB.
So for all you beginners out there (which I still am), if you are a bit concerned that your projects are not going to plan (I was countless number of times) then stick with it because if you are prepared to put the work in you can accomplish anything, well almost anything.

So what you're saying is that the name field on your degree
says "Dean Matthews and Piclist". :-) :-) :-)

Seriously though, I have to agree, I still consider myself a
beginner, 6 months later, cause I'm always learning from this
list.  Not just about PICs, but electronics in general.

My thanks to everyone as well!

Cheers,
-Neil.

I've been doing electronics since before I was a teenager; and PICs since
the early to mid '90s - I learn something new most every day.  The PICLIST
contributes to this.

Thanks again to the list admins and to all the regulars who keep posting
such useful material.
