Hello,

This has probably been discussed quite a lot i think,
but i cannot find this "skpnc" instruction in mu 16F84
or 16F628 instructions set, so it must be a macro.

But what the heck is it ????

grtz

Simon

Or, to be clearer in terms of "readable" code:

btfsc STATUS, C

It is a predefined MPASM mnemonic that is documented in the instruction
manuals for MPASM and MPLAB.  Check these documents for more mnemonics of
this nature.

Simon,
if you have the MPLAB IDE HELP files installed,
look under:

MPASM Assembler Help
Instruction Sets
14 bit Core Instruction Set
12-bit/14-bit Core Special Instruction Mnemonics

this gives a good summary of the mnemonics, and is easy to find :)
