just curious how many 16F8xx PIC's anyone has connected (@100KHz) in a
single master, multi-slave environment without bus extension IC's like the
LTC 1694-1 (or  Philips 83B715 or Philips 9515)?

i know the layout capacitance would have some effect but i also noticed the
I2C spec is 400 pF and the data sheet spec of the pin capacitance for a
16F877 is 400 pF by itself!!
