I have the same problem.
I found 2 books useful:
Can System Enginnering , Wolfhard Lawrenz, Springer
Can -Bus, Hors Engels, Franzis (in German)
For programming I try to study the documents available in http://www.emicros.com .
Perhaps I will buy some items from them because they use the same compiler I
use.
