Hi everyone,

Does anyone know if I can only use a 20MHz crystal with the PIC16F877 or can
I use another range of crystal.  This particular pic operates with 20MHz.

You may use any crystal up to 20MHz for clock
( OR MAYBE MORE IF YOU LIKE OVERCLOCKING HA-HA )

You can most certainly use any crystal equal to OR Lower than 20MHz; the
rating is the maximum frequency guaranteed for reliable operation.
