__CONFIG _CP_OFF & _XT_OSC & _PWRTE_ON & _WDT_OFF ^ _BODEN_ON

Why are you using a caret before _BODEN_ON ? This is an XOR instruction that
could be messing up your config, including WDT

^ is right next to & on the keyboard - mistake ?

May be I'm wrong, but I didn't see CLRWDT
instruction in your code.

He doesn't need a CLRWDT since he's got the term _WDT_OFF in his
configuration word.
I think Jinx has nailed it in his earlier message. The '^' character
rather than the '&' in the config word will flip all sorts of bits
that he doesn't really want to.

Regards, Bob

Sorry for the extra noise added to the list by my
messages. I should rather more carefully read Jinx's
postings, then attempting to bite him.
I program my PICs from MS Excel with no MASM
support now. It is not a good idea to comment something,
with what I've minimal experience.
