I have a JDM-programmer with IC-prog
software and the IC-prog don´t supported

Anybody who has programmed a  16c54?

Very grateful   for advices!

Hi Ake,

Right off the JDM website:

This Programmer is powered by the RS-232 and it works with RS-232 levels
at only < ±8.6V. It programs PIC12C5XX, 12C67X, 24CXX, 16C55X, 16C61,
16C62X, 16C71, 16C71X, 16C8X, 16F8X and ISO-CARD's with ASF. Other
serial programmable chips by adapter

The old 5x chips are parallel programmable.  Sorry

The 16C54 is not serially programmable. It is probably not supported by
your programmer at all.

To my knowledge, the only programmer that handles 16C54s in public domain
that u can build yourself is the one designed and released by David Tait;
the schematic and the DOS software is available on one of the mirror sites
after he shut down his own.
