I have a need to extend several PS2 devices keyboards and mice.

Does anyone out there know of any circuits or websites with info

I need to extend the length to approx 60-80 metres.

Does the machine have a USB port ?

Can the opsys handle USB keyboard and mouse?

Because the easiest way to do this may be to get a USB pic and attach the KB
and mouse to that. One of the example applications is to do this.

Or use the USB example application as the basis for making a PS2 KB/Mouse ->
serial -> PS2 link using a couple of 16F628 PIC's.

But that sort of distance brings up the obvious query, what are you doing
for the display?
I suspect you may find at the end of the day you are better off using one of
the remote control software packages.

Do you have power-source at the remote end?

I would prefer not to have a power source at the keyboard and mouse end
but this it would be an option.
