Hi again, this is my second post in this list, let's see what horrendous crimes
I'll be accused of this time (it's really amusing), by some well educated Lords.

My code and configuration was ok, I finally tracked down the problem thanks to
some luck. It was a false contact in the CLKI pin.. I had already tested it (I
better make sure I say this before I get shot in my head by another wannabe Lord
Olin Lathrop), but when I did so with the probe of my multimeter I inadvertely
pressed the pin on the PCB, and that created contact.. so it looked ok. But it
really wasn't. I re-soldered that pin (it's my first experience with SMD chips,
so maybe would you wannabe Sir Olins refrain from killing my family and all my
neighbours please?), and now everything works great.

Before I close this post, I'd like to thank James Newton not only for being an
excellent and fair moderator, but also for having good principles and following
them.
One of these is that convenience has never to be traded with civilty or justice.
Some have suggested that because Sir Olin Lathrop has contributed technically
in the past, he may be forgiven the purely criminal mass of insane insults he
has covered me with, after I just joined the list with a very honest question
(regardless all the malice some of you would try to depict in it). Well, by
applying this very idea, a killer, a raper, any criminal may be left unpunished
and free to continue his crimes just because maybe he has given advantages
to the society somewhere else (maybe being rich and paying a lot of taxes).
That is simply disgusting, and by allowing such things any community gets
ruined at the end, very quickly I may add.

Evidently, there are a lot of people with big, serious real life problems
but a lot of free time available for useless flames on the Internet (despite
their claims to not want to waste their precious time, but then writing a long
post full of useless and gratuitous, totally stupid insults just to prove
themselves wrong about how precious is their time).

But there are also nice, helpful people that are willing to see things for
what they really are, and help if they can, or otherwise remain civil and
acceptably tolerant people.

To them goes my best regards, and my will to help when I'll get a chance to.

Please, please, please.. forgive me for the wasted bandwidth of the last 20
or so lines, but don't consider me responsible for the megabytes wasted by
others with the excuse of my original, first post in my life in this list
(after reading the FAQ, yes). I've re-read it many times, and found nothing
wrong in it. A lot of criminal and totally bogus assumptions have been made
about my skills, professional experiences, finalities, methodologies and so
on. Those are really too boring to even waste my time reading those fantasies,
let away replying. I'm new to those little, nice PIC processors, but I'm not
about all the rest you may imagine. I just hope nobody ever hands a rifle (no
particular reason given) to some people like Sir Olin Lathrop, that's the kind
of event that for its consequences then has a secure place on TV news. Scary
and sad, very sad how a human being can reduce himself. Now I understand why
there're so many abuses, violence, wars et simila going on in this world..

Code and let code.

Greets,
N.R.

All right - no need to be an a** about the whole deal.
Yes Olin was rude - but you sir are being just as rude.

You were asking a awful lot ot have people decode your binary code, when
you hadn't even tried the standard tools.  Your kind of attitude is just
as bad as Olin's if not worst.  Please just go away.

Wait! Don't send him away just yet. We are still waiting on all of those
debugging tools he promised to write that would make what we all use now
obsolete.

They may be too simple and effective for you to use and understand.
